From idea to stitched, in four steps.
The same process whether it is one gift or a uniform program. Nothing runs until you have seen what it will look like.
Choose your product
Select an Emston-supplied item or tell us what you are bringing.
Customer-supplied garments are reviewed for suitability first — seams, linings and wear all affect what can be stitched.
Add your design
Upload a logo, enter a name or describe what you want.
Rough is fine. A phone photo of a sketch has started plenty of jobs here.
Review the details
We confirm placement, thread, size, pricing and timing.
If artwork needs digitizing, that happens here — and we tell you if a detail will not hold at the size you want.
We produce it
Your order is embroidered or printed, checked and prepared for pickup or delivery.
Every embroidery design is test stitched before it runs on your garment. For print, you approve the artwork, size and placement first.
What we need from you
- The item — ours or yours.
- The artwork or the words, however rough.
- Roughly how many, and the sizes if it is apparel.
- The date you need it by.
What you get back
- A written confirmation of garment, size, placement and thread.
- A digitized file if your artwork needs one.
- A test stitch reviewed before the run.
- Pricing and a real production date.
Questions we get asked.
No. One piece is a real answer — the same machines and the same test stitch run whether it is one sweatshirt or four hundred polos. That is for embroidery. Screen printing usually has a minimum; we confirm it on your quote.
Yes, and we review it first. Seams, linings, materials and existing wear affect what can be hooped and stitched, and coverage on customer-supplied items is limited. We will tell you honestly whether it is a good candidate.
Yes. Digitizing is done on our floor, which is why we can fix a file that will not stitch well instead of running it and hoping.
Yes. Embroidery and DTF pressing happen on our own floor. Screen printing is done with our production partner, and you deal with us the whole way: one quote and one contact.
Embroidery suits logos on uniforms, caps, jackets and fleece, and anything that should look premium for years. Print suits large designs, full-colour or photographic art and lightweight tees. Send the artwork and we will recommend one.
It depends on the item and the queue. Ask when you send the job and we will give you a real date.
Quotes are free. Price goes up with stitch count (a bigger or denser design), more thread colours, a new logo that needs digitizing and harder-to-hoop items like caps or bags. It comes down per piece as the quantity goes up, and when you reuse a design we already have on file. Personal pieces will carry a flat from-price per item; business and production work is quoted per job — send the artwork, the garment and the count.
Usually. Send us a piece from the last run and we will match thread, size and placement, then keep the spec on file for future orders.
